Entertainer 02:45
The ground beneath shakes off its integrity. The royalty from either side of the lost ground are flanking the people in the middle ground. And some of these lost count of their own families. But the golden royals jump They cause just a few lost rocks They call it helping everyone. Now they’ve taken everything. Applause covers all No one’s helpless No one’s lost And they’ll burn what they’ve got, Wear their pride like a cross. When we’re wasting time While we should be slipping away. Our homes are gone But I am just here to entertain you. The blood & fire and the child inside her But I am just here to entertain you.

Believer 03:07
I believe in evil things like me And I concede not a single solitary goddamn thing. I can feel the rising heat But I don’t need to move just yet Cause you’ll burn up before me. This is my love. My young love affair. I found the lift that kicks you down. My piss is the sweat falling from your brow. No time for things like meek or consequence. And I reject the movement for the lack of being me. I wanna be remembered by the things That say they’re flesh and blood with hands outstretched To praise me with my feet holding down their heads. I meet a friendly eye with a thorn. Who would you be without me to eat all You have to give.

Slower 04:55
Right now the light from inside of your mouth Is crawling through my insides. Oh god I’m overwhelmed. Last night I thought in my sleep I’d die, Afraid I picked the wrong guy That I thought could be a deity. I almost lost my footing running down the tracks. I thought I lost you long ago But you carried on without me. It’s hard to run away from the things that confide In the only place you can hide. It may be slow, but it’s suicide.
4.
No footprints left alone where the rain washed at his feet. No blank eyed scream tonight Shot well from the force of his recourse. Remove the straps from my bed I wake the beast and the shit won’t let me sleep. Well I thought I might be saved, Or just too high to notice it (danger) When I said I don’t play silly games I must admit I do what it takes To get the chemicals straight. Sometimes I sleep like I’m in church again. When the figure crawled out from the woods To read out my sins. No makeup left alone on the window sill. The theater replaced their last curtain for the month. And all the beds may as well be flat on the ground.
5.
Big trucks that drive slow, Lights on automatic timers Well they scare the living hell out of me. The air is moving and it’s bending the light Right out of my door. Unusual used to be a miracle But now it’s nah Nah nah nah nah nah. They’re taking after me after all. The ones that left are not content to fall Away from you. They’re chasing all you’ve got. What’s right and wrong and your principles Where you stand out on your own. Torn down posters and one day closer... Don’t make me say it. Remnants of a forgotten love With streamers slack and candles packed. Empty chairs are gathered everywhere, Party favors never doing their part. Everyone is losing after all.
